Thermal Transfer Printer Ribbon

Thermal transfer ribbons can be tricky business. We have several in-house experts who can help you match your labeling requirements, ribbon specifications and printer capabilities to ensure your product is just right for you! Most of our ribbons feature Clean Start, an innovative printhead cleaner built right in to the ribbon, to our lead products. The patent pending Clean Start removes debris before it builds up on the printhead so images are always clear, consistent and highly readable. Clean Start is a constant reminder to clean the printhead every time a new ribbon is installed. Simply pull it through the locked printhead at the start of each ribbon to remove residue before it builds up

General Purpose Wax The most economical choice for general purpose tag and labeling applications including shipping, warehousing, retail, textile, and apparel. Choose a wax ribbon when printing on uncoated and coated paper tag and label stocks, and low end film labels like Kimdura®.

	Premium Wax/ Resin The right choice when a higher level of scratch and smear and/or mild chemical resistance is needed in labeling applications including shelf and bin labels, textile, apparel, nursery, and lumber. Premium wax/resin ribbons print well on coated paper tag and label stocks, low end films, and some polyester labels.
	Super Premium Resin For harsh environment labeling applications where resistance to extreme abrasion, heat, and/or chemicals is imperative. Applications include nursery and lumber tags, chemical drum labels, pharmaceutical and medical labeling, outdoor labeling, automotive and industrial work-in-process labeling. Super premium resin ribbons are compatible with higher end synthetic films like polyester and polyimide (Kapton®).
	Near Edge Specifically designed to run on thermal transfer printers with near edge print heads like the TEC B-X® and Novexx® series of printers.
	Duracoat Color We offer a full line of general purpose wax, premium wax/resin, super premium resin, and specialty resin color ribbons to meet all your thermal transfer printing applications.
