Beautiful Honey Packaging

Abella, a luxurious honey company based in Galicia Spain, has designed some absolutely beautiful packaging. Abella honey is a completely raw, organic, and natural honey. The artisan honey comes in varieties such as Honey with Royal Jelly or Pollen, and flavors including Chestnut, Oak, and Blackberry. Though the flavors are certainly unique, what caught my eye was the packaging and label design.

Designed by Bonnie Miguel, each square container is formed from crystal clear glass and molded in a unique geometric manner. When the containers are later filled with honey, the result is an artistic masterpiece. Also, as each container was formed, the bottom was hollowed so that containers could be stacked for easy storage (bottom image). Every honey lid is printed with a subtle golden bee symbolizing the name Abella, which means "bee" in the language of Galicia. The delicate label stretches from the lid down the side of the container, and is printed with a golden honey drip connecting the two. Together, the artistically designed container and label create a attractively designed jar of honey.
