    Malibu cocktails

    During the winter, there is nothing better than a glass of red wine to help warm up. However, as the weather gets warmer people often reach for something more tropical and refreshing. Malibu, one of the top Caribbean rum producers has liquor flavors from Mango, to Melon and even Banana! But recently, the company has created a new product to join their family of flavored rums with some innovative packaging.

    Malibu has introduced three new premixed cocktail drinks that are not sold in the signature white glass bottle, but in pouches! The rum leader is following other companies who have introduced beverages pouching such as Sunkist Protein 24, and Tropicana Tropolis featured on our blog. The pouched cocktails come in three flavors: Caribbean Cosmo, Rum Punch, and Tropical Mojito! Complete with a built in spigot for easy dispensing, each pouched cocktail also has finger and hand holes for comfortable carrying. Soft pouching plastic as opposed to hard glass allows for rapid chilling of the beverage, makes it much lighter to carry, and minimizes the possibility of damage during travel. I love the design of the pouching, as it mimics an actual drink. Realistic images of ice cubes and fruit slices are shown being dropped into a pink bubbly looking beverage!
