Since it was founded back in 1903, Kraft Foods has grown to be the biggest food corporation in the country. Holding well known brands such as Oscar Meyer, Nabisco, and Cadbury, the food company has certainly made a name for themselves. However, the key to any profitable company is to continue to innovate and expand with the growing times. For the first time in over fifteen years, the company has introduced a completely new product brand to their family!

The newest product, Kraft Mio, is a low calorie concentrated water flavoring and enhancer. The liquids are available in fruity flavors such as berry pomegranate, strawberry watermelon, fruit punch, mango peach, sweet and peach tea. Each 1.62 oz bottle of liquid enhancer is packaged in what’s described as a palm sized bottle dropper with a convenient flip top. The name Mio, which means “mine” in Italian, is one of the biggest attraction features of the product. Consumers can customize their beverages by using however many drops of flavoring suits their taste buds. “Kraft officials say that in an era of personalization, it's all about dripping as many drops of flavor as you want into your water.” The modern packaging design consists of the “M” logo against a silver container with bold colored text varying by flavor. The packaging is so sleek and modern that to me it does not even resemble one of Kraft’s other brands; which is a good thing! Innovation, modernism, and expansion are important elements for future opportunities in the Kraft brand family.

Hi bloggers, it's Ashley! I just wanted to leave a comment to let you all know that Stacy got a bottle of the Kraft Mio for our Marketing office to try here at Dion. She got us the Fruit Punch flavor and it is very tasty! And the packaging looks fantastic! Way to go Kraft!
