FILM (AKA BOPP) – RUGGED, VERSATILE, DESIGN OPTIONS
Films are the most versatile label material option and certainly the most popular among personal care brands. BOPP has a unique set of characteristics that make it optimal for a huge variety of applications. It is a sturdy, fatigue and moisture resistant material, so for many personal care products that will be handled frequently or exposed to moisture or temperature changes, BOPP provides the ruggedness you need. We offer BOPP in white, metallic, and clear options, so it's easy to achieve your design goals, whatever they may be!
TEXTURED MATERIAL – UPSCALE, ENGAGING
When you want a high-end look for your product, one of the best ways to achieve it is to opt for a textured base material for your label. The textured look and feel of linen and estate papers add an element of sophistication to any product. We offer many linen/estate options for labels here at Dion, but our range of textured materials doesn’t stop there.
If your goal is to create a high-end look for your product, black vellum is a fantastic way to go. This thick material gives you a luxe look unlike any other. Keep in mind, however, that our textured material options may not be best-suited to your product if it is used in a wet environment or contains oils; talk to a label solutions specialist directly, and they'll be able to guide you to the perfect material to balance your application requirements versus your design goals.
SUSTAINABLE OPTIONS – ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, certified sustainable, POST-CONSUMER WASTE
At Dion, we have worked over the last several years to provide more sustainable options for the brands we partner with. Many of our materials are certified sustainable. And it’s not just our basic paper materials that have met this certification: some of our textured linen and estate options are certified sustainable too!
We also offer labels made from different amounts of post-consumer waste, including 100% post-consumer waste material. CONtract manufacturers
Dion Label Printing has decades of experience providing superior quality labels and unparalleled customer service to our contract manufacturing (CM) partners and the brands they work with. Find some of the key benefits we provide below.
What we do for our personal care contract manufacturers:
- Simplify the label ordering process by maintaining label standards on file
- We maintain: common container sizes, tooling available for each container, approved material constructions, and finishing details
- Verify proofs for each private label item to confirm graphics, icons, ingredients, etc. are accurate for the product
- Work directly with all referred clients through the label ordering process and ensure questions and final approvals go through the CM
What we do for our personal care clients referred through contract manufacturers:
- Modify and tweak provided artwork to ensure high quality printing; we also recommend design firms upon request
- Commonly used personal care icons and logos available in house to add to your label design as required including: Cruelty Free, GMO Free, Made in USA
- Coordinate proper label sizes based on the container. Every standard sized bottle has a template for artwork as well
- Recommend preferred material construction options that are pre-approved by CM to ensure proper application and functionality
- We assign a part number for every item. This number is included in our Dion part number description, on each label roll, and on the packing slip, which goes to the CM for inventory and accuracy
- We direct-ship printed labels to the CM for labeling and filling if requested
EXTENDED CONTENT LABELS
Extended Content Labels, also known as ECLs and Expanded Content Labels, are extremely effective tools for personal care companies. While traditional labels are printed on one side of a piece of material, ECLs will give you more space for a wide variety of information and can free space up on the front of your label for branding and essential product information.
We offer a variety of extended content labels. From vial labels that are an ideal solution for small containers to peel back and booklet labels, we can help ensure that you have the printable space you need for product information.
