Dion Expanding Its Printing Fleet with New MPS Flexographic Press

Dion Label Printing is excited to announce we are recently installed a new MPS EFA+ 430 Multi-Substrate Press flexographic printing press. The addition of this model to our fleet of flexo and digital presses will enable us to increase our productivity to meet demand for our high-quality print jobs. This is the latest of several acquisitions Dion has made to provide customers with the latest label printing solutions.

As a leader in the narrow web printing industry with both digital and flexographic printing capabilities, we continuously strive to deliver the highest quality service and product while pushing to innovate. With the addition of this MPS EFA+ 430 multi-substrate press, our aim is to keep our technology up-to-date and enable greater capacity and diversity in our product offerings. This press offers more automation and LED curing capabilities.

This January, we were excited to advance our close ties with MPS at the grand opening of their newest facility in Philadelphia. Our partnership with MPS began over a decade ago in 2008 with an EFh410, 16”/8 station EF Hybrid full Servo Flexo printing press; Dion was the first label converter in the United States to take receipt of the advanced functionality of EF Hybrid Printing system. In 2015 we augmented our fleet with an MPS EF-430 Hybrid press.

As a 50 year-old, second generation family business that has grown significantly over the years, we are thrilled that MPS presses have enabled us to expand our capabilities and to keep up with increasing order volume. We look forward to the delivery of our new press as an important element in helping us to stay abreast of technological advances and changes in the industry.

Parent Company Inovar Continues Growing: New Headquarters in Dallas, TX

As part of Inovar Packaging Group, Dion Label Printing is working to creating a world-class enterprise by building an innovative platform to drive sustainable growth and handle the increasingly complex demands of our diverse range of customers. Over the last several years, our parent company Inovar has acquired new facilities at a quick pace, including, most recently: Cimarron Label in Sioux Falls, SD and Amherst Label in Milford, NH. Acquiring is a major part of Inovar’s strategy to grow the company and better serve our customers and our internal teams, and we are concurrently working to expand our capacity, capabilities, and service offerings in other ways. To that end Inovar has recently moved into a newly renovated headquarters building in Dallas, TX. Located just a short distance from Inovar’s previous facility headquarters, the new location was built to showcase the mission of our brand. At triple the size of the last facility, this brand new building with its huge increase in both office and production space will enable us to provide even more solutions and support to our customers. The new facility is not just larger, however. In order to increase our capacity, capabilities, and offerings, and give our customers the highest quality labels and packaging solutions, we’ve added two new flexographic presses and a new digital press. Our Director of Marketing, Ashley Stewart, states, “the additional capacity, services, and embellishment capabilities will greatly increase our ability to meet all the requirements of even the most demanding brands. The team is thrilled to debut the new facility and showcase our capabilities to our existing and future customers.”  We also have other expansions in the works. An addition of almost 20,000 additional square feet of production and warehousing space will expand Inovar’s Milwaukee, WI, location, Flexo-Graphics, and its presence in the area.
