More and more frequently, brands are turning to high decoration packaging to help differentiate themselves from the competition. Here at Dion, we offer a huge variety of versatile solutions to meet your company’s high decoration label desires, from specialty materials to elegant effects like embossing.

Metallics are one of the most requested forms of label enhancement we receive, and the demand for printed labels requiring metallic effects extends across multiple industries, including Personal Care, OTC Pharmaceuticals, Supplements, Specialty Food, Beverage, CBD, Cannabis, Wine, Spirits, and Beer. Metallic labels have never been more popular than now. Brands and designers are increasingly incorporating metallics into their label art, whether for a fully metallic background or as accents to text and graphic elements.

With both our flexographic and digital printing processes, we can achieve an innumerable variety of metallic colors, from classic golds and silvers, to indigos, magentas, and just about any other color you can imagine. We have multiple ways of creating metallic label elements, from special inks to more cost-effective options like metalized paper and film, so there are few if any limitations to our repertoire of metallic colors. Our label solutions specialists will guide you to the right choice for your design goals, brand, and budget. Even if you’re new to metallic labels and want to try out something different for a product, our printing expertise allows you to stay on brand while adding a bit of shine.

Using a metallic base material enables you to create metallic elements in exactly the way you desire on your label, from fully metallic labels to small features or text outlines. We also offer several different finishing options, which can create looks from bright glossy metallic accents to more stately metallic tones with a matte coating.

Cold foiling and hot stamping are two techniques that can create luxurious metallic looks. If you want metallic elements on your label but don’t require the entire label to be metallic, one of these a may be an option for you, especially if you are looking for a uniquely high-end finish. The results of the two processes are similar, the difference being in the adhesive application: hot stamping uses a heated die while cold foil requires an adhesive to apply the foiled metallic elements. Often our customers who choose to go with hot stamping or cold foil do so because they want to achieve metallic elements on clear or textured bases; this combination makes for a luxurious label that is certain to give you the added shelf-appeal you are looking for.

As part of Inovar Packaging Group, Dion Label Printing is working to creating a world-class enterprise by building an innovative platform to drive sustainable growth and handle the increasingly complex demands of our diverse range of customers. Over the last several years, our parent company Inovar has acquired new facilities at a quick pace, including, most recently: Cimarron Label in Sioux Falls, SD and Amherst Label in Milford, NH. Acquiring is a major part of Inovar’s strategy to grow the company and better serve our customers and our internal teams, and we are concurrently working to expand our capacity, capabilities, and service offerings in other ways. To that end Inovar has recently moved into a newly renovated headquarters building in Dallas, TX. Located just a short distance from Inovar’s previous facility headquarters, the new location was built to showcase the mission of our brand. At triple the size of the last facility, this brand new building with its huge increase in both office and production space will enable us to provide even more solutions and support to our customers. The new facility is not just larger, however. In order to increase our capacity, capabilities, and offerings, and give our customers the highest quality labels and packaging solutions, we’ve added two new flexographic presses and a new digital press. Our Director of Marketing, Ashley Stewart, states, “the additional capacity, services, and embellishment capabilities will greatly increase our ability to meet all the requirements of even the most demanding brands. The team is thrilled to debut the new facility and showcase our capabilities to our existing and future customers.” We also have other expansions in the works. An addition of almost 20,000 additional square feet of production and warehousing space will expand Inovar’s Milwaukee, WI, location, Flexo-Graphics, and its presence in the area. We are excited for the opportunities our growth provides us to continue our rise as a premier label and packaging solution provider. Contact us today and let our growth help fuel yours.
