Meet The Team: Chrissy LeBel

We’d like to introduce everyone to one of the amazing women who works in our Quality Assurance Department: meet Chrissy LeBel! Chrissy has been with Dion for 8 years. She spent a good deal of that time doing the diligent and detailed work of label inspection as part of our Quality Control Team but recently transitioned to her new position as QA Coordinator. Now her primary duties include proofreading labels and doing AVT editing to make sure our customers get the high quality labels they have come to expect from Dion Label Printing.


Chrissy was originally drawn to Dion when she tired of working in retail and was between seasonal jobs, and she hasn’t looked back. What she loves most about her job is the people she works with and the good times they have while working. When we asked her about her proudest moment at Dion, she joked “When everyone was wrong about my height and I was taller than they had through. Thanks guys…lots of confidence in my height!”


Outside of work, Chrissy likes to read, take walks with her kids, and to binge watch Netflix series. She also likes to go to concerts and festivals.


Here are five facts about Chrissy that we love:


1.       She is extremely shy if she’s around people she doesn’t know.

2.      She laughs or smiles as a nervous habit.

3.      She loves learning about world history—any time period!

4.      She loves music of all kinds.

5.      Fall is her favorite season with all the fall activities and the seasonal flavors.


Chrissy’s personal philosophy is: “you are a product of your choices, not your circumstances.” She advises others in her profession to get to know the people they work with because then “your job will never be boring.” We’ve loved getting to know Chrissy over the years and look forward to continuing to do so!

Parent Company Inovar Continues Growing: New Headquarters in Dallas, TX

As part of Inovar Packaging Group, Dion Label Printing is working to creating a world-class enterprise by building an innovative platform to drive sustainable growth and handle the increasingly complex demands of our diverse range of customers. Over the last several years, our parent company Inovar has acquired new facilities at a quick pace, including, most recently: Cimarron Label in Sioux Falls, SD and Amherst Label in Milford, NH. Acquiring is a major part of Inovar’s strategy to grow the company and better serve our customers and our internal teams, and we are concurrently working to expand our capacity, capabilities, and service offerings in other ways. To that end Inovar has recently moved into a newly renovated headquarters building in Dallas, TX. Located just a short distance from Inovar’s previous facility headquarters, the new location was built to showcase the mission of our brand. At triple the size of the last facility, this brand new building with its huge increase in both office and production space will enable us to provide even more solutions and support to our customers. The new facility is not just larger, however. In order to increase our capacity, capabilities, and offerings, and give our customers the highest quality labels and packaging solutions, we’ve added two new flexographic presses and a new digital press. Our Director of Marketing, Ashley Stewart, states, “the additional capacity, services, and embellishment capabilities will greatly increase our ability to meet all the requirements of even the most demanding brands. The team is thrilled to debut the new facility and showcase our capabilities to our existing and future customers.”  We also have other expansions in the works. An addition of almost 20,000 additional square feet of production and warehousing space will expand Inovar’s Milwaukee, WI, location, Flexo-Graphics, and its presence in the area.
